Data we process

Because of how our business works, we do not process personal data belonging to our customers' end users. The personal data we do process belongs only to people who deal with us directly:

  • Full name, work email address, and job title
  • Company name, website, and billing details
  • Login and session logs, IP address
  • The information you send us through our contact, demo, and partner application forms

We never see or store credit card details. Payments run through the infrastructure of a licensed payment institution.

Data we do not process

We never access, request, or store any of the following:

  • Personal data belonging to our customers' end users
  • Cookie, pixel, or visitor tracking data from your website
  • CRM records and customer database contents
  • Special category personal data and location data
Measurement data is not personal data. The brand, category, and competitor lists you set up in the dashboard, along with the matching AI answers, are brand and product data. They do not identify a real person or make anyone identifiable.

Purposes and legal basis

We process your data to deliver the service, manage your account, handle billing, answer support requests, send service notices, and keep our systems secure.

Processing relies on these grounds under Article 5 of the KVKK: necessity for entering into or performing a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, legitimate interest, and, for marketing messages, your explicit consent.

We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties for advertising.

Sharing and transfers abroad

We share your data with our cloud hosting, email delivery, payment, and accounting providers only where delivering the service requires it, and only for that purpose. Those providers process the data on our instructions.

Our cloud infrastructure sits outside Turkey, so account data is transferred abroad. Transfers are made under Article 9 of the KVKK, with the safeguards the law requires.

We may also share data with authorized public authorities where a legal obligation applies, to the extent the law provides.

Cookies

Our site uses strictly necessary cookies for session management and security, functional cookies that remember your preferences, and analytics cookies that measure how pages are used in aggregate.

Non-essential cookies run only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time from your browser settings. We do not use advertising or behavioral targeting cookies.

Retention and security

We keep your data for as long as the purpose it was processed for requires, and for the retention periods set by law. Once that period ends, the data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

We take administrative and technical measures to protect data: traffic is encrypted with TLS, data is encrypted at rest, and access is limited by role. Details are in the Trust Center.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether we process your personal data, request information about it, ask for it to be corrected, deleted, or destroyed, learn which third parties it has been transferred to, object to an adverse outcome produced solely by automated analysis, and claim compensation for any damage you suffer.

Send your request through the data subject request form or to info@brandmetric.ai.

Changes

We may update this policy as our service or the law changes. The current version is always published on this page.
